Baylor College of Medicine and St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital have been affiliated since 1961, with St. Luke's participating in the training of Baylor residents rotating through the hospital. In April 2004, St. Luke's Episcopal Health System and Baylor College of Medicine entered into a new affiliation agreement that significantly expanded St. Luke's relationship as Baylor's primary adult teaching hospital. The new agreement resulted in a strengthening of the institutions' shared programs, and will forge a new model for healthcare delivery.
